Tishetskiy Valentin - talented Ukrainian artist

Valentyn Tyshetskyi is an eminent Ukrainian artist, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 1993), and a former member of the Artists' Union of the USSR. Born on September 20, 1951, in Kryzhopil, Vinnytsia Oblast, he showed a profound interest in drawing from childhood, though he initially dreamed of a career as a writer.
Valentyn Tyshetskyi's artistic journey began with his fascination for the beauty of his homeland, particularly Dmytrashkivka, where his father was rebuilding a war-damaged mill. A significant period in his development was spent in Lviv, where his family lived for twelve years. There, young Valentyn actively attended art school and completed preparatory courses at the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts.
Valentin Tishetsky received his professional art education in 1978 at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Artistic Pedagogy.
Unique style and themes
Valentyn Tyshetskyi primarily works in the field of easel painting. His works are characterized by their profound insight and a special captivating power, achieved through their simplicity, truthfulness, and softness of execution. Each canvas evokes the spirit of Southern Podillia – his landscapes and motifs are filled with lyricism and a deep connection to his native land. The artist masterfully creates a world that beckons with its harmony and tranquility, inviting the viewer to contemplation.
Beyond landscapes and genre scenes, Valentyn Antonovych is also adept in the portrait genre. His portraits are imbued with light, attention to the inner world of the person, and a desire to convey not only the external but also the inner beauty of the sitter, creating a harmonious and expressive image.
Valentyn Tyshetskyi's creative work extends beyond painting; he also engages in the artistic design of books for many renowned poets and prose writers, including Natalia Strutynska, Oleg Gubernator, Olena Handziuk, and others.
